Arsenal interested in Mexican International Winger
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing young Mexican winger Pablo Barrera. The Gunners have had scouts watching him for over three months, and the player is close friends with other Mexican, Carlos Vela.
Barrera is comfortable playing on both the right flank and in the forward role, and Barrera is regarded in his homeland as one of the best up and coming players.
Currently playing for Pumas, the player is believed to be available for no less than around £5 million, a figure which Arsene Wenger will probably be reluctant to pay for a 20 year old who will be unlikely to appear in the first team for at least two years.
It is believed that the idea is to sign Barrera, and then send him on loan to Spain for two years so he can acquire a Spanish passport.

If Wenger is considering buying a winger for the future as in my opinion we don’t really have a proper out and out flank man coming through then this is a good possibility he is looking to this young Mexican for the future. If he can and has linked up with Vela well then this could be good as looking at our bench currently Walcott is not a proper winger along with the likes of Nasri, Arshavin and Rosicky. The price however could be a sticky point…
