Jay Emmanuel Thomas joins Ipswich for £1million, Eboue’s off for £4million, whilst Fabregas deal is unlikely to be completed this week
Jay Emmanuel has joined Ipswich for a fee of around £1million which could rise dependent on appearances and success on the pitch. The player has without doubt much talent, however has lacked effort, whilst appearing to be hugely lazy when playing. For this reason Wenger decided it was time to move him on as Steve Bould has a clear out of the reserves. There has however been a large sell on clause placed on the player, so should he mature at Ipswich, then be sold, we will receive a good percentage of the fee.
Emmanuel Eboue is set to conclude a £4million deal to Galatasaray this week after being deemed being surplus to requirements at Arsenal. Wenger was livid with his actions in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool and after seeing Carl Jenkinson in pre-season he made the call that he could be Sagnas deputy. I am not in his cult, his actions over the years of playing (diving, idiotics, lack of footballing ability..) have been very embarrassing to many Arsenal fans. Good luck, but you won’t be missed… by me anyway.
The Mirror along with various other papers say the Fabregas deal will be concluded this week, this is not true, or very, very unlikely. Arsenal will not take anything less than £40million.
Barca The Skint Dickheads have offered £27million and have been attempting to discuss a new improved offer of £33million. Arsenal know they do not need to sell and even the fans know an unhappy Fabregas will still offer more to the team, than no Fabregas at all.
