Arsenal FC News & Transfer Rumours

Yannick Carrasco to Emirates?

The Belgium Superstar shocked the international football community when he transferred to Dalian Yifang FC in the Chinese Super League after holding a regular starting position for two-time Champions League Finalists, Atletico Madrid.

Making the move in his prime (25 years) came as a surprise after moves from FC Monaco to Athletic Club de Madrid. But if rumours from Gazette dell Sport are to be taken with more than a pinch of salt, then it could be very plausible the Attacking Midfielder could be on his way to the Emirates even though his services are also sought by Inter Milan.

But this is not the first time rumours of Carrasco’s transfer to the Emirates have surfaced. Back in the winter transfer season, the Gunners were rumoured to have an offer of €30 for the player but we're reportedly put off by the price, opting instead for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez on loan.

The player himself has confirmed his interest to return back to Europe back in January but kept his lips sealed on the one club interested in his signature.

Although the Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League, having slumped to a 4 - 1 defeat at the Europa League Final to Chelsea, it is believed the allure of playing for the Gunners is too difficult to resist.
